Similarly, they can charge extra costs for hot showers, charging electronic devices, wifi, etc. Most of these accommodations have twin-sharing rooms, shared bathrooms, and shared dining spaces. Despite the basics of the facilities, the accommodations are charming and cozy. They provide a glimpse of the local lifestyle.

Our Adventure Walkway’s 16 Days Annapurna Circuit Trek package includes all the accommodations and meals during the trek. The accommodation is arranged at tea houses and is on a twin-sharing basis. The three-times meal is also included. Note that the personal expenses, drinks, hot showers, charging costs, or any other additional costs are not included in the package.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival Tribhuvan internatinal Airport & Transfer to Hotel

Welcome Nepal, you will land at Kathmandu airport and Adventure Walkway, and staff will receive you from the airport and drop you at your Hotel in Kathmandu center of the tourist hub. Our manager will brief you on the tour and trek. He will introduce you to your guide for your trek and tour in Nepal.

Day 2Kathmandu Sightseeing or Trip preparation Day

This is your second day in Nepal. After your breakfast, our tour guide will receive you from the hotel with a private car to explore the world heritage sites (Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan, which were built in the 16th to the 17th century by Malla King) and famous temples like Pashupatinath Temple, Monkey temple, and Boudhanath stupa. After the full day of sightseeing, you will back to your hotel and prepare and check gear and medicine for the trek. He will give you some suggestions to make the trip safely.

Day 3From Kathmandu Drive to Besisahar 6 hours

Today you will wake up early and get your breakfast then straight drive to Buspark to Get a Deluxe bus to Besisahar. It will take 5/6 Hrs to drive through Prithvi Highway which mostly drives through the bank of the most popular rafting river Trisuli. After 3/4 hrs drive, we will cross the Trishuli river and start to fallow Marsyangdi passing famous small towns. Suspending Highway another excitement of the drive and you may see people working on their farm. After reaching Besi Shahar you will check in hotel guide will brief you about the trek.

Day 4From Besi Shar Drive to Chame (2399 m). 5 hours

Today after your breakfast you will be ready to drive another 5/6 Hrs on an adventurous bumpy highway to Manang valley.Before it was starting point but due to road construction, many trekkers skip this section and drive until Chame. During the drive, you will see the famous villages Nagdi, Bhulbhule, Jagat, Chamze, Taal, Dharapani, Danaque, and Koto. This is the day Mt Manaslu, Lamjung Himal and Annapurna south will warmly welcome you in the land of Himalaya.

Day 5Chame Trek to Pisang (3300 meters) 5 hours.

Today is a real trek start day. You will leave Chame after breakfast. The day starts through a deep Pine forest through a narrow valley made by the Marsyangdi river, crossing a river on a long bridge at 2910m. We then cross another bridge at 3040m, Paungda Danda’s rock face begins to appear in front of you. When you will reach Dhukur Pokhari then you will see the wide Manang valley with Annapurna II, Pisang peak, Chulu east, and some parts of Lamjung Himal.

Day 6Pisang trek to Ngawal (3657 m), 4 hrs.

With wake up the beautiful morning, you will finish your breakfast and will be ready for the trek to Ngawal which is an alternative route because of the road. After walking 10/15 minutes from Pisang trail will climb to Ghyaru Village which has a fantastic view of the Annapurna range and beautiful Humde village and airfield there which is often used by trekkers. The trail between Ghyaru and Nagwal is not so hard mostly goes flat from the side of the hill. This is a beautiful day with the view of Annapurna II, Annapurna Iv, Annapurna III, and Tilicho peak far in the valley. When you reach Nagarwal you can have lunch and rest

Day 7Ngawal Trek to Manang (3540 meters). 5 hours.

This is a short day trek to Manang because of the altitude. The trail goes small down to the valley and flat and gently climbs through a thin and short pine forest. Munji, a small village from where the trail split to Milarepa cave and Ice Lake looks so nice with some cattle grazing around. After walking 30 minutes you will be in another ancient village where you find the oldest Baraga Monastery built in the 15th century on the hill. You can have a short look at the monastery and walk another nearly one hour to Manang, the famous and ancient settlements of Manang.

Day 8Acclimatization day at Manang village.

Today we spent a day acclimatizing in Manang. The whole day we spend by doing some fine day walks and overviewing the magnificent views around the village and the daytime is best for gaining altitude. After breakfast, you may hike to Gangapurna viewpoint or Hundred lamas Gompa (Every trekker offers him 100 rupees and gets the blessing for good luck Thorong la pass). If you want to make your day more adventurous you can hike 8/9 hrs to Ice Lake and back. We return back to our accommodation and have a night’s rest.

Day 9 Manang Trek to Yak Kharka (4195 m), 5 hrs

Today we leave Manang and head to Yak kharka (Locally called Yak shelter), and the trail makes an ascent of nearly 500 m on the way to Thorong La pass. We make a steep climb after Tenki (Old Manang). Trai starts through the middle of the village and leaves the Marshyangdi Valley. The continuing climb will bring you to Gesang. Two to three hours of gentle walks will be another experience of how you struggle with high-altitude walks. After you reach you can take your lunch and hike a bit higher to be used to and have good sleep in Yak kharka

Day 10 Yak Kharka Trek to Phedi (4430m), 3-4 Hrs

Today trail gradually climbs another 200m to the Leather village (4200m) offering the beautiful Annapurna range, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Khangsar Khang, and Chulu peak near the front. From the Leather trail descends to cross the river at 4310m we climb up to Phedi at 4420m Through a small tea shop and a small landslide area. It is quite risky because Yaks or blue sheep may be running at the top of the landslide. After making an hour lunch break trail goes straight climb to High Camp at the elevation of 4600 m, we can find High camp Guesthouses for sleep at the height of (4900 m).

Day 11Phedi Trek to ( Thorong-La Pass 5416 m) Muktinath (3802 m), 9/10 hrs

This will be the most challenging and adventurous day of the whole trip. We will make the hard and steep climb in the dark early morning after getting breakfast and packing lunch for the day. However, the problem may arise due to the altitude and snow. It often causes a terrible situation to cross the pass if it is covered by snow. About four to five hours to climb up to the pass marked by the Chortens, prayer flags, and Signboard of Throng La pass, fixed by ACAP. As you reach the top, you are rewarded with a magnificent view of the Himalayas with a sunrise from the top. After some snap of the picture, you will head towards Muktinath through continues down to Chambharu (Phedi another side) leaving Thorong peak and Yak kawa behind. We suggest walking slowly down, the trail may have ice.

Day 12Drive Muktinath to Tatopani (Hot Springs), by bus (1189 m), 6/8 hrs

Today you will take an early Bus/Jeep to Tatopani to skip the newly constructed road which will be so dusty and more and more vehicles carrying pilgrims to the famous holy temple of Hindus and Buddhists. Jeep/Bus drive down Jharkot, Kagbeni, Ekle Bhatti, Jomsom, Marpha, Tukuche, Lete Kalo Pani, Ghasa, Dana, and Tatopani. Before a road, it was an amazing trek route passing through Mustang people in up than Jomsom and Thakali (Traditional salt traders) with their beautiful settlement and typical culture of Thakali. During your descend drive you may see Mt Dhaulagiri, Tukuche peak, Nilgiri, and Annapurna I. After checking in the hotel, you can go for Hot Spring Bath in the evening

Day 13Tatopani Trek to Ghorepani (2856 m), 8- 9 Hrs

Today is a bit hard for the trek up to Ghorepani (a Place for drinking water of Horse) with about a 50-60 degree slope up via Ghara, Shikha, and Chitre with a continuous view of Mt Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri south, and Baraha Shikhar. Mainly these villages are densely occupied by Magar Indigenous ethnic groups famous for Gurkha. Shikha / Chitre will be the lunch break after the whole day’s climb. After the Chitre trail still goes climb to Ghorepani through the beautiful Oak and Rhododendron Forest. Once you climb 1800 m you will feel how worthy of choosing such a big day. Complete panoramic view of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Annapurna make Ghorepani a piece of Heaven

Day 14Hike to Poon Hill (3210m) early morning to see the sunrise and Trek to Hille &Drive to Pokhara, 7-8 Hrs

This will be another memorable day of the trek because the Early morning trip to Poonhill (3232m) is a dark morning walk before breakfast to catch the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak Nilgiri, Varaha Shikhar, Mt. Annapurna I, Lamjung Himal which has the best near sunrise view you saw ever.

After the sunrise view, you will back to the guesthouse and take your yummy breakfast. Then you have to ready trek all the way down via beautiful forest, Nangethanti, Banthanti, Local Magar village Ulleri and steeply down trek to Tikhedhunga, Hile, Sudame, Birethanti, and Nayapul. When you reach Nayapul then you will drive two hours on the affine road to Pokhara and check in hotel.

Day 15Drive or Flight to Kathmandu 1310m

Today you will drive back to Kathmandu. After breakfast, you will short drive to Pokhara tourist bus park from there you will get a luxurious tourist Coach to Kathmandu which is a 209 km driving distance. On this day there will be some breaks for lunch and refreshment. When you reach nearby Thamel then your guide will drop you at your hotel.

Day 16Final Departure

The trip ends, and our Airport Representative will drop you at the Tribhuwan International Airport for your final flight departure from Nepal.
