Day 1:Kathmandu Arrival

Welcome to Nepal. Today is the first day of your Nepal and Bhutan tours. Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by our staff outside the terminal building. You will be assisted with your transfer to the hotel at Thamel. The drive to Thamel will take around 30 to 45 minutes of drive which depends upon the traffic condition on the road. You will get refreshed and have some rest there.

In the late afternoon, you will go to the exploration of Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kathmandu Durbar Square is enlisted as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. On your exploration, you will get to see some historical, cultural, as well as religious infrastructure of ancient Nepal. You will also be visiting the temple of the living goddess, Kumari, on the tour today.

After the tour, you will return to your hotel in the evening. You can return by walking or take a drive to return. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2:Arrival in Paro and drive to Thimphu

Welcome to beautiful Bhutan!! When you arrive at the International Airport at Paro, you will be welcomed by our representative. You will need to keep a copy of your VISA clearance with you in your hand carry to show during the airport procedures. The PP-size photo is not required.

You will meet our representative outside the airport terminal. The representative will assist you with your transfer to the city of Thimpu. It will take 2 hours to drive to reach Thimphu. Upon your arrival at Thimphu, you will check into the hotel and get refreshed. You can go for a short walking tour around the city in the evening for some exploration. Overnight at the Hotel at Thimphu.

 

Day 3:Thimphu Sightseeing

Today is the day of full-day sightseeing at Thimphu. You will enjoy your breakfast before starting your exploration. After breakfast, we will head towards National Memorial Chorten, Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue), and Folk Heritage Museum.

We will also explore other attractions in Thimphu. The attractions are Zilukha Nunnery, Takin Sanctuary, Textile Museum, and Traditional School of Arts and Crafts. We will also get to make our visit to the Tashichho Dzong. If we have enough time, then we can explore the Paper factory, Zandopelri temple, and other attractions around Thimphu. After a full day of tour, we will return to our hotel in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4:Drive to Paro

After breakfast at Thimphu, we will take a drive of 2 hours back to Paro today. When we arrive at Paro, we will enjoy our lunch there. After lunch, we will be hiking to the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery. The monastery is located at an altitude of 3048 meters. It will take 2 hours and 30 minutes to hike to reach the monastery. When we reach the top, we will get an awesome view of Paro Valley along with the monastery hanging at the cliff.

Now, we will hike back from the monastery. We will also explore the Farmhouse, and local market in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Flight to Kathmandu

Today is the last day of our trip to Bhutan. We will be taken to the airport. We will be driven to the airport three hours before the scheduled flight after completing the checkout procedure at the hotel. You will be assisted by our representative during all these processes.

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be picked up by our representative for your drive to your hotel at Thamel. You will check into your hotel and have the required rest there. In the evening, you can go for a strolling tour around Thamel. You can buy some souvenirs and some gifts as a memory. We will return to the hotel after the short tour. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6:Departure Day

The last day of the trip. We will complete all the checkout procedures at the hotel for your departure to your homeland. We will provide a farewell to you on your last day.
